Road Trip Planner Games

1. Hot Seat
Get to know more about your road trip companions by taking turns on the “hot seat.” You each get the same allotted amount of time or number of questions, and the person on the hot seat must answer them—with one veto, should they chicken out!

2. Stories
Look at the people in the cars around you, and come up with stories about their lives, where they are going, why they are going there—you might be surprised by how many people end up running from the law!

3. Would You Rather?
Would you rather have spaghetti hair or fish fingers? Would you rather eat ice cream flavored poop or poop flavored ice cream? The possibilities are endless.

4. Marry, Kiss, Kill
There are a lot of different names for this game, but the concept is usually the same: you are given three names (either famous people, or people that you all know), and you must assign marry, kiss or kill to each one, using each only once.

1. 20 Questions
Animal, vegetable, mineral? 20 questions, yes or no answers, it’s a classic.

2. I Spy
It’s a classic—although you might have to get creative, sometimes options are limited when you are stuck in a car!

3. License Plate Game
See how many different state license plates you can spot over the course of the trip. Try to see all 50!

4. Name the Song
Take turns singing a song without using words, and have everyone try to guess which song it is.
