Too many distracted drivers
October 19, 2010 | in Helping You Drive SafelyIt’s reported on TV, in the newspapers, on the web and laws are being imposed at this time – distracted driving has always been an issue, but with cell phones that act as PDA’s, Ipads and unlimited texting plans, technology has made it very easy to multi task. Everyone should understand that during the time you take to send a text your ability to drive is worse than if you had a BAC of .08.
Don’t drink and drive, don’t do drugs and don’t text and drive – all create dangerous driving situations (just as in the photo to the left) where someone near my house ran into someone’s bedroom wall while attempting to go around a curve in my neighborhood!
