Florida Traffic School for Employee Driving

A school bus driver has been charged with being allegedly three times over the drink limit when she arrived at work just before her afternoon shift.
Lane Tripp, 46, was arrested and handcuffed after an off-duty deputy in Lee County, Florida, spotted her weaving through traffic in her own car.
He followed her to the school bus barn in Lehigh Acres where she was found sitting against a pole, smelling of alcohol with bloodshot eyes, said the sheriff’s office.
During a sobriety test, Tripp reportedly stumbled and struggled to keep her balance. According to deputies, multiple breath tests showed Tripp’s blood-alcohol levels measured at 0.252 and 0.245. Florida’s legal limit is 0.08.
Parents of children at the school were shocked over the arrest. One told WINK News: “I think it’s disgusting. I hate to think that they [my children] would be on a bus with someone who has been drinking.”
