Do You Know Your State’s Law When it Comes to Driving with Headphones?

According to Digitalmusicnews.com, 35 states say it’s legal for drivers to wear headphones while on the road. Though 15 states prohibit headphones, some states, like Alaska, allow headphones for navigational purpose. Other states, like Pennsylvania, allow for single-ear audio systems for cell phones.
As a driver, your best bet is to eliminate distraction while driving. So even if it’s legal to drive with headphones, if you know they’ll distract you, listen to your car stereo instead.
