CES 2015: Self-Driving Concept Car Unveiled By Mercedes

The 2015 Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas is already giving car and tech enthusiasts plenty to be excited about this upcoming year. We are already seeing examples of new smart tech for automobiles, as well as more cars that link with mobile devices and wearable tech.
Perhaps the most buzz however, has surrounded the unveiling of a new concept car by Mercedes. While this might be exciting under regular circumstances, the increased excitement is a direct response to the face that the vehicle is a futuristic self-driving car. The concept vehicle imagines, and shows us, how self-driving cars might look in the near future. Labeled the F 015 Luxury in Motion, it is Mercedes prediction for the type of vehicle we might see in 15 years.
Dieter Zetsche, head of Mercedes-Benz, predicted that “autonomous driving will change our society,” and that the car will grow “beyond its role as a mere means of transport, and will ultimately become a mobile living space.”
