What a defensive driving course can teach about…
May 22, 2012 | in Driving DistractionsRunning out of gas sucks, especially when you’re in an inconvenient location such as the highway. Many drivers, including myself are guilty of passing by the gas station thinking “I can make it.” Driver safety is very important. No matter the circumstance, it’s always better to be safe than sorry. If your car runs out off gas on the highway, pull over to right shoulder and turn on your hazard lights. If you can’t make it to the shoulder and your car dies in the middle of the highway, grab your cell phone and call a friend, a family member, or roadside assistance for immediate help. Running out of gas is not the only driving emergency. Taking a state approved defensive driving course will inform on how to properly handle any driving emergency you may face.
